A massive weeks ahead as we commence our Premier Junior Hurling Championship on July 29th. After a County Board competition restructure, this is the very first year of the Premier Junior grade, with the winners going on to represent Cork in the Munster Junior Hurling Championship. Of course we have tasted success in that competition, winning it in 2019 against St.Mary’s of Waterford.
Premier Junior Championship Fixtures:
Friday July 29th: Russell Rovers v St. Catherine’s in Killeagh at 7:30pm
Saturday August 6th: Russell Rovers v Glen Rovers in Lisgoold at 6pm
Friday August 26th: Russell Rovers v Tracton in Blackrock at 7:30pm.
In total there are 3 groups made up of 4 teams with the top 2 in each group progressing to the knockout stages.
